Welcome to the webpage for Project 0134-0153, Rehabilitation of Bridge No. 07122, carrying West Stafford Road, in the Town of Stafford...
The purpose of the project is to rehabilitate/remove the abandoned culvert that is under Route 190 to avoid future culvert failure and maintenance that may occur on Route 190. The project will consist of excavating the roadway in stages to remove the existing masonry arch that passes through the entire width of Route 190. This will be obtained by using shoulder and one lane closure at times.
There are right-of-way impacts associated with the proposed improvements these impacts are on private property adjacent to the culvert.
Construction is anticipated to begin April 2025 based on the availability of funding, acquisition of rights of way, and approval of permit(s). The estimated construction cost for this project is approximately $650,000. This project is anticipated to be undertaken with 100% state funds.
